Bob Coltrane   


Bob’s parents were Deaf, therefore he grew up understanding the cultures of both the Deaf and hearing communities.  Bob is a professional interpreter with over 35 years’ experience interpreting.  Bob recently completed two terms of appointment by the Chief Justice of the Ohio Supreme Court to serve on the committee responsible for establishing benchmark certification and qualification guidelines in all court systems throughout Ohio. He holds the National Association of the Deaf (NAD) Level V – Master and the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) Specialist Certificate: Legal (SC:L) certifications. Bob has served as President and other officer positions on local boards of several organizations including the American Heart Association and the March of Dimes. Bob graduated from the University of Texas. He resides in West Chester, Ohio, with his wife, Sharon who teaches ASL at Lakota East High School. They have two adult sons.
