Maria Miller’s Comment - Deaf Choice, Inc.

This past Friday and Saturday I was very humbled and honored to have some of the best interpreters in the tri-state representing us live for the two-day Police Task Force commission discussions held downtown. You all did a fabulous job representing the entire professional interpreting industry nation-wide and the Dept of Justice got flooded with emails and calls about the interpreting posted live. For those of you who work with Deaf Choice, Inc. and interpret anything from a home visit to a doctor/hospital, jail intake, court, job situation, etc. I want you to know how proud I am of ALL of you for giving the Deaf community the best you have. Don’t ever for a minute think you are overlooked or taken for granted. I see who is where every day and appreciate all your hard work. We as an agency are so extremely blessed because you represent the face of Deaf Choice.
